Returning Plants

Our return policy for different types of plants is as follows:

Boxwood: No warranty

Outdoor trees & Shrubs: Covered for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Azaleas, Emerald Arborvitae, Japanese Maples, Rhododendrons & Roses:
Covered until 1st of November of the year they were purchased.

Perennials: Covered for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Annuals, Tropicals & Indoor Plants: Covered only during the current growing season, which spans from April to October.

Please ensure you retain your receipt as proof of purchase. We are committed
to ensuring your satisfaction with our plants and services, so if you have any

Stipulations for Wojo’s Plant Guarantee

Requirements & Conditions

1. Product Return with Receipt: To avail of the guarantee, the dead or defective plant must be returned in its entirety to the store along with the original receipt.

2. Inspection for Replacement: We need to examine the dead plant to provide suggestions for caring for the replacement.

3. Warranty Start Date: The guarantee begins from the original date of purchase. Only plants that are truly dead are covered, plants that have not broken dormancy (e.g., hibiscus or rose of Sharon) are not considered dead.

4. Replacement Specifications: The guarantee covers replacement of the same size item as purchased. If there has been a price increase, Wojo’s will not charge the difference. However, if the customer chooses to replace with a larger or different item, they are responsible for paying the price difference.

5. Exclusions:

  • Guarantee does not cover boxwood affected by boxwood blight. While our plants are certified blight-free upon arrival, they can contract this disease in your landscape.

  • Guarantee does not cover plants being wintered in pots.

  • Clearance items are not covered by the guarantee.

6. Refund Options:

  • The guarantee allows the guest to choose between cash, credit card refund, or merchandise credit for the replacement.

  • Cash refunds are provided for amounts up to $100. For every amount exceeding $100, a check will be issued.

  • Items returned within ten days of purchase that were paid by check can be refunded as in-store credit. Otherwise, a check will be issued once the original check clears.
